What if the weather is bad?
I'm committed to ensuring we capture stunning photos, regardless of the weather conditions. If the forecast for our scheduled day appears unfavorable, we have several options:
Reschedule: We can select an alternative date that suits both your schedule and mine.
Adapt: Depending on the weather, we might adjust the timing or style of the shoot to make the most of the conditions.
For instance, light rain or overcast skies can create a unique atmosphere, and sometimes, waiting out a brief shower can lead to beautiful, unexpected moments. In such cases, we'll remain flexible and make decisions together to ensure the best possible outcome.
What is the best time to do photos?
Sunrise and sunset, often referred to as the "golden hours," are indeed ideal times for photoshoots for several reasons:
During sunrise and sunset, the sun is lower in the sky, creating a soft, warm, and flattering light. This golden light is much more gentle and diffused compared to the harsh, direct light of midday sun, reducing harsh shadows and making colors appear richer.
* **Enhanced Skin Tones**: The warm tones of golden hour light add a natural glow to skin, smoothing out imperfections and providing a flattering, radiant effect.
* **Dynamic Backgrounds**: The unique quality of golden hour light brings out the natural beauty in landscapes, whether it's a field, a park, or an urban setting. Colors appear richer, and backgrounds become more dynamic.
* **Reduced Harsh Shadows**: Because the sun is lower, it casts long, soft shadows rather than sharp, unflattering ones, adding depth and dimension to your photos.
These factors combine to create a magical atmosphere, making golden hour the perfect time for capturing beautiful, timeless images.
Do you give RAWS?
I don't provide raw photos because editing plays a crucial role in bringing the images to life and truly reflecting the vision we set out to create.
By providing edited photos, I’m delivering the images as they were intended to be seen, with attention to detail and a cohesive look that represents both the scene and your unique connection.
How do we choose a location?
I provide a curated location guide to help you choose the perfect setting for your session. This guide includes a variety of recommended spots.
If you have a particular location in mind or any other questions about potential locations, feel free to reach out. I’m happy to offer advice on finding the ideal place for your photos.
How should we dress for our family session?
When planning your photoshoot, choosing clothing in neutral and light colors is a great idea because it helps create a timeless and cohesive look. Here are some tips:
Neutrals: Opt for colors like white, cream, beige, tan, or soft pastels. These colors tend to photograph well and won't distract from the main focus.
Avoid busy patterns and logos: Large logos or busy patterns can be distracting in photos. Instead, choose solid colors or subtle patterns like stripes or small prints.
Comfort is key: Make sure everyone feels comfortable in what they're wearing.
